De Gamlas Hem Hotel

De Gamlas Hem Hotel & Restaurant is a historic, fully renovated, protected 17-room boutique hotel near the centre of Oulu. As early as 1906, we accommodated, nurtured and fed cultured and respectable old ladies while serving as a private retirement home for the Oulu Manor. Swedish fighter pilots have also stayed under this roof during the Winter War. Today, we welcome you to this wooden art nouveau villa to enjoy peace and quiet and excellent food in the gentle warmth of old tiled ovens and log walls!

Our rooms are well-equipped and decorated to a high standard, all with a high-quality and superbly comfortable bed. A good night's sleep is a matter close to our hearts. In order to preserve the historical value of the building, the frame of the building has been protected, so the room layout is original. We will do our best to make you feel at home with us!
